Intercession

Dear Lord, my friend is suffering.

Hear my prayer.

Dear Lord, he's lost his loved one.

Hear my prayer.

Lord, when I have no words,

But only tears,

You come into my heart

And give me speech.

Speak through me now.

Please help me spread your word

Through acts of love.

Please help me comfort my good friend.

And if my words cannot provide

Your comfort

Help me to listen with my ears and heart

And ease the pain with loving silence.

Amen.
